First Storm of the Year January 2, 2014 The first storm of 2014 is on the way with up to twelve inches of snow followed by some record cold weather. We recommend that everyone take reasonable precautions, buy whatever food and supplies you will need for the weekend and move your car(s), as needed to allow plow access to your property. The snow plows and/or shovelers will be out during and after the storm. We appreciate your patience as they make their way to your property and for your safety recommend that you do not venture outside except when absolutely necessary.
(0) COMMENTS // + POST A COMMENT Sweater Weather October 31, 2013 Now that the cooler weather is here, the sprinkler systems and pools have all been winterized and the boilers have been serviced, tested, and turned on. in an effort to conserve heat, it is a good idea to make sure that your windows are not only closed but also locked to minimize heat loss. Also, furniture should be moved away from the radiators and heat sources to allow for the free flow of heat throughout your home. Because the boilers are often controlled by outside thermostats, when the temps hover around 50 degrees, the boilers often do not turn on. If you find it too hot or too cold in your apartment, please contact your Managing Agent or Supt. but keep in mind that these issues often resolve themselves once the temps drop into the 40’s. We wish everyone a happy Halloween and Thanksgiving.
(0) COMMENTS // + POST A COMMENT Mid-summer Review August 8, 2013 Its been an exciting summer so far and lots is happening! Most importantly, we are back in our office at 84 East Park Avenue serving our clients. The newly renovated offices has a more modern look and we appreciate all the encouragement and kind words that we received. We hope that you stopped by and got your free tree while they lasted. It is important to re-green Long Beach! A large section of the Boardwalk has opened and the general consensus is that it looks great and is a much smoother ride for those on bicycles. All in all, there has been a lot of activity and Long Beach is coming back strong.
(0) COMMENTS // + POST A COMMENT March Update March 5, 2013 We are glad to see that the Unit Owners and Residents of Granada Towers Condo are finally back in their homes. It has been a long three months of hard work on the parts of alot of dedicated people, but the “thanks” we have received makes it worthwhile. Work proceeds at many locations around town and we look forward to the date when everyone (including us)in Long Beach is back in their homes and offices. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all the Board Members, Superintendent’s, employees, contractors, suppliers, vendors, local officials and everyone else who has gone above and beyond the call of duty over the past few months. We could not have done it with you!
(0) COMMENTS // + POST A COMMENT The Heat is On! October 15, 2012 This time of year some days are cold and some days remind us what a great summer just passed. The boiler has been serviced and turned on but when the temp. hovers around 50 degrees, the thermostat does not always call for heat. Please call the office if there is an issue. We are continuing to get ready for the coming winter. Snow Melt is being bought and the shovels checked. Daylight savings time is next weekend so we will be re-setting the light timers, please don’t forget to check the battery in your smoke alarm.
